Job Description

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in California. This position is ideal for someone passionate about helping students improve their communication skills, while also utilizing their bilingual abilities to provide culturally responsive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide bilingual speech and language therapy to students, addressing a range of communication challenges such as articulation, language disorders, and social communication skills
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific needs of each student
  • Conduct bilingual speech and language assessments and evaluations
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to create a supportive learning environment
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight on speech and language goals

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) is required
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
