Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and oversee Asset Protection strategies across designated locations (3-6 stores) to minimize losses and enhance security measures.
  • Collaborate with store management to achieve strategic Asset Protection goals.
  • Utilize business performance metrics to drive initiatives aimed at reducing inventory shrinkage.
  • Facilitate training sessions for store associates on approved Asset Protection practices and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of store operations, focusing on pre-shrink indicators and compliance with safety regulations through operational audits.
  • Deliver consistent training to all staff on safety communication protocols and crisis management procedures.
  • Monitor security controls and perform surveillance to detect and investigate employee dishonesty.
  • Carry out investigations and interviews related to inventory discrepancies, cash losses, and policy violations.
  • Utilize CCTV and on-site surveillance techniques to prevent and address theft in alignment with company policies.
  • Support investigations related to Organized Retail Crime in partnership with Zone ORC Investigators and local law enforcement agencies.
  • Complete special projects as directed by the Regional Asset Protection Manager.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Asset Protection or a related retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess situations and make prompt decisions in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by retail operations.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is mandatory.
  • Access to reliable transportation is essential.
  • Preferred certification in Wicklander - Zulawski interviewing techniques.
  • Must meet all physical demands, including standing and walking for extended periods.
