Founded in 1893, Kansas Children's Service League (KCSL) is a prominent nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the lives of children and families across Kansas. Our mission is to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, providing essential programs that address health, safety, and educational needs. We strive to empower both children and parents, equipping them with the necessary skills to thrive in their homes, schools, and workplaces. KCSL proudly represents the Kansas chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America and Circle of Parents.
Core Responsibilities
The Administrative Support Specialist will play a vital role in assisting the Prevent Child Abuse Kansas Director and the broader team. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing general office tasks such as copying, faxing, and managing correspondence.
- Overseeing accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of vouchers and invoices.
- Managing inventory of office supplies and program materials, ensuring the supply area is organized and well-stocked.
- Facilitating meetings by coordinating logistics, preparing agendas, and documenting minutes.
- Arranging travel logistics including transportation, accommodations, and conference registrations as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in administrative support or office management.
- Proficiency in operating standard office equipment such as copiers and fax machines.
- Strong skills in computer applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
