We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Assess patients prior to surgery and establish a clear understanding of the procedure being performed.
- Apply aseptic technique to maintain a sterile field and assist in procedures or prepping patients for surgery.
- Demonstrate knowledge of areas that require preparation for different types of procedures.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
- Provide high-quality nursing care services and promote a positive image of nursing within the organization.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- CNOR certification preferred.
