Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and inventorying sterile set-ups for cardiac operations.
  • Pass items to doctors and nurses as needed, maintaining aseptic technique at all times.
  • Set up and break down equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
  • Perform delegated duties consistent with your scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery.
Requirements:
  • 2 years' recent acute care experience.
  • NBSTSA Certification.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
