We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our OR.
Responsibilities- Assess patients prior to surgery and establish clear communication with the perioperative team.
- Apply aseptic technique to maintain a sterile field and assist in procedures or prepping patients for surgery.
- Demonstrate knowledge of areas that require preparation for different types of procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical services team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient OR operations.
- Provide exceptional patient care and promote a positive image of nursing within our organization.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- CNOR certification preferred.
