We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Assess patients prior to surgery and establish clear communication regarding the procedure and any necessary preparations.
- Apply aseptic technique to maintain a sterile field and assist in procedures or prepping patients for surgery.
- Demonstrate knowledge of surgical procedures and areas that require preparation.
- Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient surgical processes.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care services and promote a positive image of nursing within the organization.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in an Operating Room setting.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification.
- CNOR certification preferred.
