Job Description

Apex Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Cloud Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Response and Triage: Respond to critical events in other domains and assess impacts to applications within the domain.
  • Coordination and Communication: Coordinate responses to critical events generated within the domain and communicate with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitoring and Research: Monitor Big Panda and triage domain events, research monitoring events as needed, and recommend direction or solution to Run teams.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements for applications as well as domain SRE functions.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain domain SRE knowledge base and ensure that all relevant information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and 7+ years of professional experience.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication skills, written and oral, ability to work in stressful situations, and demonstrated competence with mainstream development tools.
  • Desired Qualifications: Experience in the financial industry and demonstrated competence with a mainstream development tool.
