Apex Systems is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Event Response and Triage: Respond to critical events in other domains and assess impacts to applications within the domain.
- Domain Coordination: Coordinate responses to critical events generated within the domain.
- Monitoring and Research: Monitor Big Panda and triage domain events, research monitoring events as needed, and recommend direction or solution to Run teams.
- Process Improvement: Identify and, when appropriate, opportunities for process improvements for applications as well as domain SRE functions.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain domain SRE knowledge base.
- Experience: 3+ years of SRE experience and 7+ years of professional experience.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, written and oral.
- Stress Management: Ability to work in stressful situations.
- Development Tool Competence: Demonstrated competence with a mainstream development tool.
- Financial Industry Experience: Experience in the financial industry.
