We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Baptist Health. As a Registered Nurse in our OR, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct comprehensive nursing care to patients from admission to discharge.
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care using an outcome-focused approach.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, provider, and other members of the care team to ensure seamless care.
- Review and document care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care.
- Follow professional standards of care and apply evidence-based practices to bedside caregiving.
- Prioritize care based on changing patient assessments and needs.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other departments in the hospital.
Requirements:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred upon hire and required within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred upon hire and required within 90 days of hire.
- Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Recent experience in specialty preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
