About the Role

Fehr & Peers is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Engineer/Planner to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting transportation analysis, writing reports, and participating in meetings. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including transportation impact studies, bicycle and pedestrian planning, and multimodal operations assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct transportation analysis and write reports

Requirements
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or a related field
  • Coursework in transportation, engineering, urban and regional planning, geography, math, statistics, economics, or other related courses
  • Experience or exposure to relevant software, including Microsoft Excel, GIS, and CAD
  • Previous work experience in an office setting related to transportation planning and engineering
  • Experience with technical writing and public speaking
  • Interpersonal skills, a desire to collaborate, and a creative approach to problem-solving
  • Organizational skills and the ability to balance priorities between multiple tasks within a defined timeline
