Position Overview:
Sweve Tech LTD is seeking a committed and proficient Service Operations Technician to enhance our workforce. The selected individual will be tasked with providing exceptional technical assistance, service, and upkeep to our clientele.

This position necessitates frequent travel to customer, client, and partner locations, both in indoor and outdoor settings, with considerable travel across the United States and potentially abroad.

The candidate must exhibit the ability to operate autonomously with minimal oversight while upholding strong communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Service and Technical Assistance:

  • Travel to diverse indoor and outdoor venues, including customer, vendor, and supplier sites, to execute service tasks.
  • Provide field service assistance at client locations within your designated area and travel regularly to other regions in the U.S.
  • Deliver onsite technical training regarding the operation, repair, and maintenance of Sweve Tech products and services.

Preventive Maintenance:

  • Execute preventive maintenance services to optimize equipment uptime, ensuring alignment with customer production timelines and equipment specifications.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges, offering effective solutions to prevent future occurrences.

Collaboration and Technical Department Representation:

  • Collaborate closely with other engineering teams and technicians at client sites, vendor locations, and within the office.
  • Represent the Technical department in interdepartmental meetings, contributing insights to support broader company objectives.

Project Oversight and Independent Task Management:

  • Oversee the progress of service-related projects to ensure they meet timelines, budgets, and customer expectations.
  • Carry out technical tasks independently, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project goals.

Travel Requirements:

  • Engage in regular short-term travel as necessitated by project assignments, including both domestic and international travel up to 50%.
  • Be prepared to travel to multiple locations to support project development, installation, and maintenance activities.

Daily Commuting and Independent Work:

  • The role requires daily commuting to customer/client locations within your assigned territory.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, effectively managing time to meet service commitments and client needs.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Service Operations Technician or in a similar technical capacity.
  • Strong technical abilities in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of complex electrical or mechanical systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the capability to deliver technical training.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service assignments concurrently.
  • Willingness and capability to travel extensively for work, including internationally.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in providing technical support and training to clients.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance and service protocols in industrial or commercial settings.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
For projects located outside town, accommodations and meals will be provided. Company vehicles and transportation to work areas will also be supplied.
