Salary Information

The estimated starting compensation range for this role is $44,990 - $96,845. This includes base pay, which is the primary form of payment for regular work performed by an employee.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program, which also includes commission payments, discretionary bonuses, health insurance, retirement savings plans, and other benefits.

Job DescriptionRole Summary

This is a prestigious position that offers the opportunity to build and lead IGT's newly created PlaySports B2B sportsbook services.

You will be joining an IGT PlaySports business team that already has the most successful B2B sports betting platform offering in the US.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create and maintain daily sports betting programs for all IGT managed customers.
  2. Populate, open, and maintain sports betting lines and numbers.
  3. Adjust lines based on liability positions in accordance with agreed strategy with the customer and direction by Head of the book.
  4. Assist in resulting and grading games, verifying results from data feeds and relevant sources.
  5. Perform player profiling for patrons of IGT managed sports books.
  6. Make decisions and recommendations to IGT managed books about acceptance of large bets.
  7. FOLLOW BETTING AND SPORTS RELATED NEWS AND MAINTAIN KNOWLEDGE ABOUT ONGOING GAMES.
  8. Follow the sports and betting-related news via multiple platforms (traditional and social media).
  9. Disseminate collected information within the trading team and adjust lines and trading strategy based on that.
  10. Inform customers on any emerging betting trends as a result of collected information.
  11. Manage content of customer-facing apps and screens.
  12. Manage ongoing promotions and bonuses.
  13. Monitor exposure and effectiveness.
  14. Monitor for promotion abuse.
  15. Propose improvements to head of the book.
  16. Communicate with the customer via established live channels.
  17. Inform customer on significant movements in the book.
  18. Inform customer on particular players, betting trends or potential bonus abuse.
  19. Inform customer when adding relevant new content to the app and customer-facing screens.
  20. Advise customer on actions for large or suspicious bets.
  21. Participate in team meetings and contribute to team strategy roadmap.
  22. Perform any other duties given by Head of the book.
Qualifications
  1. A passion and in-depth knowledge of American sports and trends are a must, as is the availability to work around the sporting calendar.
  2. CUSTOMER-FOCUSED – THINKS ABOUT CUSTOMERS 24/7 AND CREATES PROCESSES, SOLUTIONS ETC. WHICH TANGIBLY IMPROVE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE.
  3. Effective collaborator – works with others within the team and the wider organization, whilst communicating effectively across a range of channels and audiences.
  4. Makes quality decisions – makes confident decisions under pressure, which fundamentally drive results to positively impact the bottom line.
  5. Strong attention to detail: Diligent and applies a thoroughness and thoughtful approach to tasks with the aim to provide quality results in a short time.
  6. Flexible - available to work outside of the standard 9am-6pm window.
  7. Innovative - always looking for new opportunities that will grow the product.
Requirements
  1. A mathematical or business degree will be considered an asset.
  2. 6 months to 1-year experience to a similar role.
  3. PASSION ABOUT US SPORTS & BETTING KNOWLEDGE.
  4. Excellent command of written and spoken English. Additional languages will be considered an asset.
  5. Knowledge and use of Microsoft applications and Excel in particular.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
