ROLE OVERVIEW


The Lead Consultant will play a pivotal role in assisting the Consulting Services Team in delivering cybersecurity risk and audit management solutions to Clearwater clients.

This position necessitates a proactive approach to learning Clearwater's service offerings, sales methodologies, marketing content, contract structures, and operational processes.

The Consultant is expected to quickly become a subject matter expert and a trusted representative for Clearwater's IRM|Pro Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) suite.

The Consultant will dedicate a significant portion of their time directly engaging with Clearwater clients to provide billable services.

The remaining time should focus on producing informative content, delivering educational presentations, maintaining relevant professional certifications, networking, and participating in industry-related events.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute consulting service engagements as assigned, adhering to Statements of Work, Clearwater's operational standards, and relevant customer policies, utilizing Clearwater templates and established processes; including, but not limited to:
o Clearwater Audit Services, including EPCS Certifications

o Clearwater Risk Analysis WorkShopTM

o Clearwater Risk Response WorkShopTM

o Clearwater HIPAA Security Assessment WorkShopTM

o Clearwater HIPAA Privacy and Breach Notification Assessment WorkShopTM

o Clearwater Remote Risk Analysis for Medical Practices/SMBsTM

o Clearwater Information Risk Management Capability AssessmentTM

o Clearwater Strategic 9/10-Point HIPAA Compliance AssessmentTM

o Interim Privacy/Security Officer engagements

o Clearwater Consulting Services related to HIPAA policy development and compliance

o Clearwater Cyber Risk ServicesTM

  • Engage in continuous learning, testing, documentation, and enhancement of scalable consulting processes to effectively deliver customer engagements while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Create, document, and refine training programs and materials to foster customer adoption and retention of Clearwater SaaS solutions.
  • Provide technical sales support as needed, particularly in the creation of information asset inventories and project analysis.
  • Customize and enhance customer engagement processes, including kick-off meetings and on-site presentations.
  • Develop and improve tools and templates used in delivering customer engagements and training subcontracted resources.
  • Actively contribute to the formulation of strategies and execution of tactics to support business development initiatives.
  • Conduct online SaaS training and orientation sessions for clients.
  • Participate in Clearwater's educational and promotional activities, including webinars and customer council meetings.
  • Assist in the development of test cases and provide support for testing SaaS software.
  • Undertake additional assignments aligned with skills and experience.
  • Collaborate with the team in strategizing and executing tactics to drive company growth and scalability.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • The candidate must possess a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) certification (or be willing to obtain one within a specified timeframe) and have relevant experience in conducting information systems audits and risk analyses.
  • The Consultant should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in the information systems, security, and privacy domains. Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills in a client-facing environment are essential.
  • This role requires the capacity to rapidly assimilate new subject matter, including regulations and frameworks relevant to the industry. Significant interaction with various stakeholders, including colleagues and clients, is expected.
  • Clearwater Consultants must exhibit a strong customer service orientation and the ability to manage multiple projects independently while exercising sound judgment and initiative.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Clearwater operates as a fully remote organization, with all team members working from home.
  • Employees are expected to provide their own equipment, including a printer/scanner, computer audio setup, mobile phone, and internet service.
  • The company supplies subscriptions to essential tools such as Basecamp, Microsoft Online Services, encryption tools, data backup solutions, and Zoom Meeting.
