Job Summary

Avid Technology Professionals is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and resolution to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier I and II support for customers, including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of technical issues.
  • Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve technical issues and provide status updates.
  • Utilize various engineering and scientific drawings, manuals, and other related documentation to perform assigned tasks.
  • Monitor system health and status, and document problems and resolutions through a tracking program.
  • Perform various administrative duties and provide technical assistance to remotely located users.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of directly relevant experience.
  • Experience with monitoring system health and status.
  • Experience documenting problems and resolutions through a tracking program.
  • Experience performing various administrative duties and providing technical assistance.
  • Experience with ITIL methodology and DoD M Compliance at IAT Level I.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interfacing with software development, testing, integration, deployment, sustainment, maintenance, and other teams.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with shell scripts, TCP/IP, Cisco switches and routers, VLAN, firewall, VPN, storage arrays, and other related technologies.
