We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Packout Operations Supervisor to join our team at Mountaire. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of department operations, aligning procedures, people, and resources to achieve established goals in regards to quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Order Fulfillment and Staffing: Ensure orders are fulfilled and operating with correct staffing numbers on a daily basis, following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Production Practices (GPPs).
- Quality and Packaging: Follow product quality and packaging specs, execute plans to address defects and necessary improvements, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Department Metrics: Meet department metrics, including BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A Grade %.
- HR and Safety: Follow prescribed HR/Safety policies and procedures, complete Kronos and Oracle HCM time off requests on a timely basis, and complete safety and certification training.
- Shift Requirements: Must be able to work 3:00PM - 3:00AM shifts.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred (Agriculture, Operations Management, Business).
- Experience: 3+ years' demonstrated supervisory experience in lieu of degree, previous poultry experience preferred.
- Knowledge and Certifications: HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) knowledge and experience, and USDA regulations on sanitation and pre-operations guidelines.
