TechFlow, Inc. is in search of a skilled refrigeration specialist to oversee the maintenance of mechanical systems and the overall condition of our food service facilities. This vital position involves managing and ensuring the efficient operation of refrigeration and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional multitasking abilities, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of facility management.

Compensation

$65,000 to $70,000 (Dependent on Experience) along with employer-sponsored insurance

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems and related components
    • including stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and other commercial appliances
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
  • Identify mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts utilized
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations
  • Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in refrigeration and mechanical technology
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians
    • Provide training and support as needed
  • Schedule and prioritize maintenance and repair tasks
  • Conduct regular facility inspections to ensure efficient operation and safety compliance
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth facility operations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Essential Skills
  • Proficient in using hand tools, test equipment, and following wiring diagrams and manufacturer specifications
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and best practices
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficient in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in food refrigeration systems and facility maintenance
  • EPA type I and type II certifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
  • U.S. citizenship required for access to certain facilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • EPA Universal Certifications
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, and walk
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, bending, squatting, standing, twisting, or stooping
  • Climbing ladders and entering confined spaces
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in various temperatures and weather conditions
