Culinary Team Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our dynamic kitchen team at the 604 Hospitality Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive Chef in developing menus, recipes, and food presentations that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver excellent service and high-quality food products.
  • Participate in inventory management, including ordering ingredients, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of food costs, waste, and inventory levels to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments, such as front-of-house staff, to ensure seamless service and high guest satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and customers to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve kitchen efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in kitchen management, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of improving kitchen efficiency, reducing waste, and increasing customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Availability to travel for training and meetings (less than 10% of working time).

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
