Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate and evaluate complex General Liability claims to determine liability and damages exposure.
  • Develop and implement effective claim handling strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective resolution.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to underwriting business partners and other stakeholders on claim handling and litigation management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards and state-specific regulations.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, including law firms and medical providers, to ensure effective claim resolution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as insurance, law, or business.
  • 5-7 years of experience in bodily injury litigation claim handling or comparable claim litigation experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of coverage, liability, and damages analysis, as well as a thorough understanding of the litigation process and relevant case and statutory law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent decisions on complex claims.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
