Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Spa Manager, the Spa Retail Supervisor will lead the Spa team, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for our guests while promoting product sales and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all Gaming Commission Regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding guest information.
  • Foster positive guest relations and resolve any complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and organization of retail areas.
  • Utilize property management and inventory systems effectively.
  • Ensure the store is adequately staffed, stocked, and organized daily.
  • Identify and address pricing discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage the processing of damaged or transferred merchandise.
  • Facilitate open communication between management and staff.
  • Enhance the visual appeal of the store through creative merchandising.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement shrinkage control measures.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for retail operations.
  • Oversee training and development of retail sales staff.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Spa to explore retail opportunities.
  • Address guest concerns effectively while upholding business practices.
  • Prepare daily reports and highlight significant trends to management.
  • Order supplies and create attractive retail displays to boost sales.
  • Ensure compliance with responsible gaming and alcohol service standards.
  • Report any illegal activities or ethical violations to management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of team members.
  • Perform general administrative tasks as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of customer service experience. Supervisory experience in a luxury spa setting is preferred. A degree in Hospitality Management is an advantage.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Must apply for and maintain eligibility for the necessary gaming license.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, frequent standing, walking, and some sitting. Vision capabilities should include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
