Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a unified platform for Compliance Recording and Media Streaming.
- Facilitate interoperability between various Audio, Video, and Telephony systems.
- Ensure seamless integration with third-party communication solutions.
As the Software Engineering Team Leader, you will set the strategic direction for the development of next-generation RTC services. We seek a collaborative leader with a proven track record in building and managing diverse engineering teams.
As a leader, you will be expected to:- Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a diverse group of engineers.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the domain and client requirements.
- Identify and champion innovative opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, and Development.
- Drive technical innovation and guide the team’s direction.
- Engage in hands-on leadership through coding, code reviews, and product collaboration.
- Promote agile methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Minimum of 2 years in an engineering leadership role.
- Experience in managing teams and fostering talent.
- Proficient in designing and supporting production systems using C++/Java and Python.
- Expertise in developing back-end infrastructure for Real Time Communication.
- Strong foundation in distributed systems design and development.
- Experience in building scalable and resilient systems.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated success in team building and development.
- Experience in launching or leading innovative projects.
- Proven track record in developing applications and scaling complex systems.
- Familiarity with WebRTC or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of media formats and video conferencing protocols.
- Experience with Asterisk and SIP protocols.
- Contributions to open-source projects.
