Overview:

As a Spa Housekeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the spa, public areas, restrooms, and locker rooms.

Director of Spa and Fitness Services

Key Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
1. Restock supplies in spa areas as necessary.
2. Maintain cleanliness of public areas in compliance with Health & Sanitation Guidelines.
3. Ensure restrooms and locker rooms are kept to the highest standards of hygiene.
4. Clean and sanitize showers, saunas, steam rooms, and treatment rooms.
5. Keep internal windows and doorways free of smudges and fingerprints.
6. Organize and clean furniture, staircases, and hard surfaces in public spaces.
7. Ensure floors in public areas are free of debris.
8. Sanitize all fitness equipment according to established protocols.
9. Report maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.
10. Empty waste receptacles in public spaces regularly.
11. Follow safety procedures concerning bloodborne pathogens.

Safety and Compliance:
Utilize cleaning chemicals according to guidelines and familiarize yourself with all Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Report any concerns to management, including leaks, malfunctioning fixtures, and any signs of mold or infestations.

Additional Duties:
Assist in resetting the gym at the end of each shift, ensuring all equipment is organized, wiped down, and restocked as needed. Support other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
1. Familiarity with housekeeping practices, including sanitation and guest service.
2. Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional setting where we prioritize 'Employees First and Guests Always.'

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds unassisted. The role involves bending, stretching, standing, walking, and using stairs throughout the shift.
