Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Spa Cleaning Specialist is to ensure that all areas of the Spa, Spa Garden, Spa Reception, and Fitness Center are organized and stocked with clean linens and robes while efficiently managing the removal of soiled items.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all storage and locker areas.
- Efficiently remove all soiled linens, including towels and robes, and transport them to the laundry area.
- Report any non-functional items in storage, spa, and housekeeping areas.
- Wash and sanitize all mugs and drinking glasses in the designated area.
- Polish drinking glasses before restocking them in linen closets.
Qualifications:
Knowledge & Skills: Must be able to understand English and follow simple verbal instructions. Familiarity with reading and understanding chemical labels is preferred. Previous experience in a hotel setting is advantageous.
Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, efficient, quick learner, safety-conscious, and a strong team player with excellent customer service skills.
Physical Requirements: The role involves standing and walking moderate to long distances throughout the shift, bending, stooping, and reaching to perform routine tasks. The ability to move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. over moderate distances is necessary, as well as moving heavier items using appropriate equipment. Frequent use of stairs is expected.
