Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Supportive Living Services. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder to live their best lives.

Our community-based program provides supportive services to individuals living in their own homes in Erie, Girard, and Albion. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of individuals, providing support and assistance with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, house cleaning, and personal care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as meal preparation, house cleaning, and personal care
  • Transport individuals to appointments and activities
  • Document individual progress and outcomes
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 or older
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Able to provide transportation utilizing personal vehicle
