About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As a key member of our Dietary Services department, you will be responsible for preparing and serving meals for patients, employees, visitors, and physicians. Your expertise in food handling techniques and knowledge of standardized recipes will be essential in ensuring the highest quality of food service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals for patients, employees, visitors, and physicians
- Comply with department standards and use knowledge of proper food handling techniques
- Assist with production of foods for catered events
- Work successfully in a team environment to accomplish common goals

Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement
- National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority upon hire
- National ServSafe Manager Certification - National Restaurant Association within 6 months (180 days) of hire
- Two (2) years experience working in a production cooking capacity or short order style cooking
- Must have experience working with standardized recipes
- Experience working successfully in a team environment to accomplish common goals
