Director of Quality Assurance

The Director of Quality Assurance is a key leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the Surface Quality organization. This position will lead the execution of cross-functional strategies and plans to ensure the company's production system quality control roadmap is achieved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture that prioritizes quality and excellence throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and process enhancements.
  • Lead the development and execution of quality metrics and reporting to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement best practices and technologies to improve quality control systems and processes.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to quality professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards and methodologies, including ISO 9001/TS 16949.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years in a quality leadership role.
  • Proven track record of driving quality improvements and process enhancements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to train and develop quality professionals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
