Quality Assurance Engineer

AssureHire is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop test cases and test plans to validate product functionality and performance.
  • Execute test cases, document test results, and identify defects and recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide input on design and implementation decisions.
  • Perform root cause analysis on issues discovered during testing and work with developers to resolve them.
  • Develop and maintain test environments and test data to support the testing process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and executing test cases and test plans.
  • Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
  • Good understanding of various testing techniques, such as black box testing, white box testing, and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C++, or Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
