Director of Quality Assurance

The Director of Quality Assurance will provide strategic leadership and direction for the Surface Quality organization, ensuring the execution of cross-functional strategies and plans that meet the company's production system quality control roadmap.

This role requires a strong leader who can foster a culture of quality excellence, identify and implement best practices, and build strong business relationships across multiple functions and regions.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving quality, performance, and cultural transformations, with a strong ability to use data to analyze and solve issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence and implement best practices across the organization.
  • Build strong business relationships and collaborate across multiple functions and regions.
  • Develop and execute the Cornerstone Production System Quality Control Pillar.
  • Lead the effort to leverage best practices and standardize processes and procedures across all Aperture factories.
  • Evaluate new and existing regulations to ensure quality assurance protocols meet requirements.
  • Lead and/or facilitate team problem solving for customer and internal quality issues.
  • Invest in talent offense and align training and development of teams to mindsets and skillsets important to the future of the business.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related industrial field.
  • Master's degree preferred and MBA a plus.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
  • At least 10+ years of manufacturing experience in a complex environment and at least 5 years leading product quality.
  • Proven ability to drive quality, performance, and cultural transformations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to train staff.
  • Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
