Position Overview:
We are in search of an IT Support Specialist to provide assistance to our users across North America, primarily working from a home office with occasional visits to the local office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support to internal employees by diagnosing issues and guiding them through solutions.
- Assist with PC Hardware and Software, Mobile Devices, Printers, and Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Set up laptops for new employees and manage replacements.
- Gain proficiency in managing systems such as Azure Active Directory and ERP systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for processes and solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical challenges and enhance internal workflows.
- Manage IT equipment orders and oversee inventory.
- Support the IT Management Team with data entry and issue research.
- Coordinate with third-party service providers.
- Provide support for Microsoft 365 products.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in IT support, ideally in a helpdesk or customer service role.
- Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
- Experience with MS Teams phone system administration is advantageous.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for documenting technical issues accurately.
- Tech-savvy with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with a commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to internal guidelines.
Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be necessary to support other company locations or for training purposes.
