Pediatric Medical Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Non-Certified Medical Aide to join our team at Heartland Community Health Center.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support to our pediatric patients, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure seamless delivery of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with direct patient care, including vital sign collection, rooming, and documentation.
- Monitor patient flow and communicate effectively with nursing staff to optimize care delivery.
- Provide equipment and assistance as instructed by nurses or physicians.
- Complete forms and maintain accurate records.
- Clean and stock exam rooms daily, and as needed.
- Enter immunization records and assist with lab collection and requisitions.
- Maintain nursing workstations and cooperate with all staff to ensure efficient patient care.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to lift 30lbs.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
- Works in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to function in a high-stress environment.
- Requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
Physical Requirements:
- Required to spend long hours on the computer entering data.
- Required to spend long hours in intense concentration.
- Required to read, write, and speak English.
- Requires sufficient hearing level to communicate effectively.
Details:
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 7 pm, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
- Shifts are generally 8 hours in length.
