POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Healthcare Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in managing daily administrative tasks and providing essential support as required. This position collaborates closely with the Administrator to facilitate smooth operational processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the Vision software system to ensure data accuracy
- Generate a variety of reports utilizing Vision
- Assist in managing invoices and financial documentation
- Collect payments and confirm insurance details
- Handle bank deposits and monitor patient financial records
- Act as the main point of contact for billing questions
- Support payroll processing and insurance precertification
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and census data
- Address financial eligibility issues and Medicaid billing
- Safeguard the confidentiality of patient and employee information
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of accounting principles is essential
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- A high school diploma is required; further education is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare
