Behavioral Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team at Open Sky Community Services. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to lead meaningful and active lives.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans and deliver interventions identified on the Treatment Plan.
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, as well as reduce challenging behaviors in the home and community settings.
- Assist in the completion of all documentation according to prescribed timelines.
- Provide crisis management and intervention supports to programs, and provide clinical advocacy and guidance to staff.
- Coach staff to provide one-on-one direct supports to assist individuals to attain success in their daily living skills.
- Provide direct supports to assist individuals to learn regulation strategies, coping skills, and daily living skills.
- Carry out any clinical assessments and collaborate effectively with program and clinical teams.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, required.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a group living environment setting.
- Must be a Registered Behavior Technician, or willing to obtain certification within the first 3 months of employment.
- Valid drivers license and acceptable driving history, required.
