Job Title: ABA Teacher (ABAT)

Location: Crossroads School, A Program of Crossroads Continuum

Schedule: 7:30 am – 3:00 pm

Salary: $44,616 (with the opportunity for an increase after 90 days)

About the Role

Crossroads Continuum is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic ABA Teacher (ABAT) to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will work under the guidance of the Lead Special Education Teacher to teach students using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Your primary responsibility will be to help students achieve their goals outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Behavior Management Guidelines (BMGs), and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the supervision and safety of assigned students at all times.
  • Deliver high-quality work with minimal errors, following established guidelines in the Employee and Parent Handbooks.
  • Adhere to HIPAA and FERPA guidelines to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate foundational ABA skills, as outlined in the 90-Day Checklist.
  • Drive students and staff in Crossroads School vehicles as needed (during school hours only).
  • Maintain and update case students' program books, curriculum sheets, and behavior data sheets according to guidelines.
  • Construct Student Day packets and make curriculum adjustments as needed.
  • Summarize and enter student data daily, monitoring progress and informing the Lead Special Education Teacher of necessary changes.
  • Assist in curriculum development and modification in collaboration with the Lead Special Education Teacher.
  • Communicate any parent concerns to the Lead Special Education Teacher and/or Educational Behavioral Support Coordinator (EBSC) promptly.
  • Complete end-of-day tidying responsibilities for case students' materials and the classroom.
  • Write quarterly progress reports for case students according to protocol.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Experience working with children with autism and related disabilities (preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
