Service Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Interstate Power Systems in Lakeville, Minnesota. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in our operations, building strong customer relationships and ensuring exceptional service to our truck customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers at the service counter and by phone, taking care of their needs using our Elite Support processes and standards.
  • Manage all aspects of transactions, from taking appointments to completing invoices and collecting from customers.
  • Assist fellow service office employees with managing schedules and workloads.
  • Monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency and work with parts departments to complete repair estimates.
  • Work with outside vendors for sublet work needed on customer units and assist with warranty claims at the branch level.
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills and high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to think outside the box.
  • 3 years of truck or automotive service writing experience required.
