Service Advisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Interstate Power Systems. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in building strong customer relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers at the service counter and by phone, providing personalized support and resolving their service needs.
  • Manage all aspects of transactions, from taking appointments to completing invoices and collecting payments.
  • Collaborate with technicians to ensure efficient repair progress and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Work with the parts department to gather information and complete repair estimates.
  • Communicate with outside vendors for sublet work and assist with warranty claims.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in truck or automotive service writing.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, and Excede OS.
