Asset Management Specialist Opportunity

Hazen has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our West Region asset management team. As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering asset management related consulting services for water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage asset management projects, ensuring timely delivery, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Collaborate with the asset management team to develop comprehensive asset management plans.
  • Take ownership of technical aspects, including data analysis, report development, and coordination of field assessments.
  • Participate in strategic business development and proposal development.
  • Interface with clients and assist in contract review and negotiation.
  • Develop and maintain asset management expertise, increasing awareness of Hazen's capabilities within the industry and the company.
  • Assist in mentoring junior staff to ensure career growth and objectives are met.
Requirements:
  • BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • 8 years of experience in asset management or a related field.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and database development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Masters degree or Professional Engineer license.
  • Project management experience, client management experience, and proposal development experience.
  • Geospatial analysis skills using GIS and data mining or statistical analysis skills.
