Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager I to join our team at A Community of Friends. As a key member of our affordable housing development department, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Project Leadership: Manage and lead teams for various supportive housing projects, overseeing the development process, and ensuring minimal supervision.
  2. Team Support: Provide guidance and support to Project Associates, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  3. Feasibility Analysis: Conduct thorough due diligence and feasibility analysis for new project sites or acquisitions, utilizing industry knowledge and resources.
  4. Entitlement Approval: Oversee the entitlement approval process, guaranteeing timely submission and successful approval.
  5. Community Outreach: Develop and implement community outreach plans, engaging stakeholders, and facilitating public hearings.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in affordable housing development or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience preparing proformas for LIHTC-financed multifamily housing developments.
  • At least 2 construction financing closings or permanent loan conversions for tax-credit financed, multifamily developments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and Adobe Acrobat.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
