Responsibilities:
- Support the development and execution of safety policies and standards aimed at achieving an injury-free workplace.
- Identify and rectify potential hazards and unsafe conditions in the work environment.
- Assist in conducting incident investigations and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Participate in Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and contribute to EH&S toolbox safety meetings.
- Collaborate with the EHS Vice President and EHS Manager to drive Operational Excellence initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current Construction, Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in training, safety, or gas distribution.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and industry standards is preferred.
- Knowledge of gas distribution operator qualification standards is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- OSHA 500 or 510 certifications are preferred.
- Experience in HDD, Oil & Gas, or related fields is desirable.
- Understanding of federal, state, and industry compliance requirements.
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize daily tasks while upholding company policies and confidentiality.
- Experience in creating technical programs that meet industry standards and conducting training for field personnel.
