Job Summary:

The Field Safety Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols in industrial settings. This role involves conducting safety audits, training personnel, and investigating incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs to ensure personnel understand and adhere to safety protocols
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures
  • Collaborate with branch personnel and customer representatives to ensure safety policies and procedures are followed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in Industrial, Environmental, and/or Health & Safety Management preferred
  • Two or more years of industrial safety experience, preferably in the industrial cleaning environment
  • General Industry OSHA 30-hour certification preferred

Work Environment:

The Field Safety Specialist will work in heavy industrial facilities, including refineries, petro-chemical plants, steel mills, pulp and paper mills, and power generation plants. The role requires travel to multiple customer sites and exposure to extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, and hazardous materials.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Lifting 25 pounds overhead 10-15 times per 12-hour shift
  • Ability to climb ladders in heights of up to 250 feet
