About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Family Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a critical role in building strong relationships with students, families, and community partners to ensure the academic and social success of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and community partners to develop and implement support programs and services that meet the needs of our students and families.
- Provide individualized support to students and families, including counseling, advocacy, and resource navigation.
- Assess student needs and make referrals to appropriate resources, including psychological, social, and medical services.
- Develop and implement programs and services to promote parent engagement and participation in their children's education.
- Monitor and track student progress, including grades and attendance, and report to parents as needed.
- Conduct surveys and evaluations to assess the effectiveness of programs and services.
- Prepare and submit accurate and complete documentation of all assigned cases.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or directed.
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
