Medical Director for Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine

Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician sought for a full-time position at Cambridge Health Alliance, a leading academic safety net healthcare system in Massachusetts. The successful candidate will join an established team of 8 providers and contribute to resident and medical student teaching.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to practice pulmonary and critical care medicine with sleep medicine opportunities for certified candidates. The ideal physician will possess excellent clinical and communication skills, a strong commitment to serving our multicultural patient population, and a passion for academics. This role also offers a Harvard Medical School (HMS) appointment as Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor, commensurate with HMS appointment criteria, candidate qualifications, and commitment to teaching responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Inpatient responsibilities at CHA Cambridge and CHA Everett Hospitals, with additional outpatient office hours at CHA Somerville Hospital. The selected physician will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care, while contributing to the development of future physicians through teaching and mentorship. Additionally, they will have opportunities for faculty development, including roles as clinical leaders and medical educators. A competitive salary is offered, estimated to be around $250,000-$300,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
