About the Role

This Staff Physical Care Specialist position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from newborns to the oldest old. You will have the chance to rotate through seven teams, including Orthopedics/Trauma, Cardiovascular, Thoracic/Pulmonary, Oncology, Neurology, General Medicine, and the Emergency Department. Our multidisciplinary team provides comprehensive care, and we encourage collaboration and professional growth.

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and evaluate patient's physical therapy needs.
  • Formulate a physical therapy diagnosis, and develop a treatment plan with treatment goals directed towards maximizing function.
  • Consult with other members of the health care team to ensure coordination and effectiveness of therapies provided.
  • Manage patient caseload assigned.
  • Participate in activities that directed towards increasing knowledge and skill and professional development.
