About the Role:

NTT DATA Services is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Practice Lead to join our team in the United States. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for defining and implementing Data Governance Programs that drive business value and ensure data quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data governance initiatives that drive business value and improve data quality.
  • Design and implement data governance policies, procedures, and standards that ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure data governance initiatives are aligned with business needs and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and training to business stakeholders on data governance best practices and policies.
  • Identify and mitigate data governance risks and issues that could impact business operations or reputation.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and reporting to measure data governance program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience defining and implementing Data Governance Programs.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Data Governance Tools and Platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience managing small projects including status reporting, risk & issue management, resource and budget management.
  • 3+ years of experience working with MDM tools.
  • 2+ years engagement management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Industry specific consulting experience (FSI, Manufacturing, Healthcare).
  • Experience working with all levels of client resources preferred.
  • Experience in systems implementation, business analysis, and/or project management.
