The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating exceptional judgment and initiative while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exemplary customer service to all patrons, vendors, and team members.
- Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization, including Theatrical, Awards, Publicity, Events, and Safety & Security.
- Support initiatives related to Inclusion & Diversity and sustainability.
- Assist in vendor management and RFP processes by gathering and analyzing vendor information.
- Facilitate a wide range of events, from intimate screenings to high-profile premieres.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of theater capabilities and event logistics.
- Proactively address and resolve any issues that may arise during operations.
- Contribute to larger team projects while managing smaller initiatives independently.
- Engage with vendors across various business segments to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and keep accurate records.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations in all theater operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in theater management.
- Experience with high-profile events is preferred.
- Background in facility management is essential.
- Basic understanding of digital and film projection systems.
- Experience in concession stand operations; bar management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Vista POS systems is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.
- Ability to build trust and foster collaboration across various organizational levels.
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to engage in all aspects of the role.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinker capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Proactive in addressing and anticipating the needs of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
