About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on all company-operated lift trucks, floor cleaning equipment, and road vehicles.

  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address equipment-related issues.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and other team members on equipment operation and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a forklift mechanic or in a related field.
  • Trade school or vendor-certified training in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Experience with welding and machine shop knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 2+ years of technical school or vocational training.
