Key Responsibilities- Assist Pharmacists: Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications, including counting, measuring, and pouring pharmaceuticals.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the management of pharmacy inventory, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals.
- Clinical Services: Assist pharmacists in administering clinical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in pharmacy operations and patient care.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
- Certifications: Prefer PTCB certification.
- Skills: Good math skills, good computer skills, and knowledge of store inventory control.
