Job Summary

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician in our Fulfillment Center, you will play a critical role in supporting the pharmacy team by performing data entry, patient registration, and resolving third-party rejects. You will work under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures and company policies. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process new patient registration by entering data into our pharmacy system.
  • Handle patient prescription requests, including entering refill orders and troubleshooting missing information.
  • Run automated machinery to pre-sort and package medications.
  • Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack, and ship.
  • Resolve third-party rejects by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing.
  • Provide assistance to pharmacists and communicate issues to senior-level staff as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic level PC skills, including start-up and shut-down procedures, mouse navigation, and basic search engine skills.
  • Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, touch typing, formatting documents).
  • Ability to perform tasks that include pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to work a flexible shift.
  • Age 18 or older.
Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail, fulfillment, or call center environment.
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality and productivity standards for services.
  • Required certification/registration as a Pharmacy Technician by state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency.
  • Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, touch typing, formatting documents).
