Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze work instructions, schematics, and other technical documents related to assembly.
- Conduct functional testing on completed assemblies, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Utilize a variety of measuring and hand tools to inspect and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) for quality assurance.
- Perform inspections to verify that components meet production specifications.
- Employ critical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Organize and execute calibration activities for mechanical and electrical equipment in accordance with established protocols.
- Coordinate calibration schedules across departments and maintain accurate records in the calibration management system.
- Utilize schematics and common testing equipment for product diagnosis and calibration.
- Test assembled cabinets to ensure compliance with quality standards, addressing any failures as necessary.
- Accurately log job details to track time and materials used.
- Regularly communicate progress to the shift line leader and/or supervisor.
- Promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years old and comply with safety regulations.
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience or enrollment in an electronics education program is preferred.
- Experience in cross-functional technical assembly is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with root cause analysis.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to use hand tools with dexterity and perform basic mathematical calculations accurately.
- Capability to read and comprehend instructions and specifications while maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening, along with a physical examination.
