Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret work instructions, schematics, and technical documents related to assembly.
- Conduct functional testing on completed assemblies, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards.
- Utilize various measuring and hand tools to inspect and test printed circuit boards (PCBs) for quality assurance.
- Perform inspections to verify that components meet production specifications.
- Employ critical thinking to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Organize and execute calibration activities for mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Coordinate calibration schedules across departments and maintain accurate records.
- Use schematics and testing equipment for product diagnosis and calibration.
- Ensure quality specifications are met for assembled products, making corrections as necessary.
- Accurately log job details to track time and materials used.
- Regularly communicate progress to supervisors and team leaders.
- Promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years old and comply with safety regulations.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience or enrollment in an electronics education program.
- Experience in cross-functional technical assembly is preferred.
- Proficient in problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to use hand tools with dexterity and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Capable of reading and understanding technical instructions and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
