About the Position
The Strong Starts Court Initiative (SSCI) is seeking a Clinical Coordinator, Infant Mental Health Specialist to support Family Court involved families with infants under three. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, with experience in infant mental health and trauma-informed interventions. The salary for this position is $72,030 - $85,120, commensurate with experience. Job Responsibilities
This role involves coordinating and completing clinical and developmental screenings, supporting caregivers and families, and collaborating with court personnel and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:
  • Completing clinical and developmental screenings and assessments of infants' development and social-emotional status;
  • Providing comprehensive screenings and psycho-social assessments of caregiver and family needs;
  • Developing family-specific service plans in collaboration with other case planners;
  • Facilitating referrals to high-quality services based on assessment;
  • Tracking and monitoring referral status, client progress, and barriers to treatment;

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in infant mental health, including attachment theory and research. They should also have knowledge of local infant/family-serving systems and organizations, as well as experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary practitioner groups. Additional requirements include:
  • Mastery of screening assessment tools for infants and caregivers;
  • Knowledge of issues related to child abuse/neglect;
  • Ability to engage and support court-involved parents;
